Our school, located in the heart of Naples, was born in January 2010 from the collaboration between
Luca Chimenti and Irene Vecchia
Ours is much more than a dance school: it is a vibrant place where the passion for the music and dances of the Swing Era meets an invincible faith in the well-being of being together while dancing.
With Swingin'Napoli you can discover the world of Swing by going through paths that include different dance styles in the weekly lessons, to be put into practice in the big themed dance parties, all in the extraordinary setting of the Salone Margherita in Naples.
But it doesn't end there! Deepen your musical knowledge, participate in social dances, intensive workshops with international dancers, and immerse yourself in cultural and style events that will enrich your Swing experience.

WHAT IS SWING?
At the end of the 1920s, in the midst of the economic crisis and during prohibition, swing was born, a musical genre characterized by a "bouncing" or "swinging" rhythm.
With swing, different styles of frenetic and adrenaline-filled dances were born, which today are danced all over the world.
THE SWINGIN'NAPOLI TEAM
Swingin'Napoli was born with the aim of transmitting the passion for Swing dances, the fun of dancing and the pleasure of being together.
The Swingin'Napoli team is made up of passionate and qualified teachers who share a love for Swing and the care in transmitting a passion.
Whether you have an innate sense of rhythm, or feel as flexible as a piece of wood, just enjoy the syncopated rhythms of the music, and you will find your place in swing.

COURSES
The Naples Swing School could not find a more appropriate location for its weekly courses, workshops and group lessons, where Social Dance comes to life within the walls of this historic place.
Classes take place in the magnificent main hall, under the spotlights that once illuminated the stars of theater and cinema, creating a unique and engaging experience for students.
Taking part in the courses of the Scuola di Swing Napoli means not only studying Lindy Hop, Balboa and Jazz, but also living an immersive experience in a context that takes you back in time, just like in a scene from a classic film.
